The Medical Science Liaison (MSL) will apply his/her background in transplant patient care and use of laboratory tests in patient management to educate physicians and transplant coordinators about the clinical value of AlloSeq cfDNA test as non-invasive methods to monitor transplant recipients for organ rejection. The MSL will be familiar with current best practices of post-transplant patient management, and will explain how these diagnostic tests are useful in patient care. Excellent communication skills are essential for the MSL who will operate from a home based office in Northern European. Ideally in Sweden, Italy, Germany, Belgium, or Ireland. Significant travel is required to visit transplant clinics affiliated with teaching hospitals located in the region.

Responsibilities:

Communicate and reinforce the clinical utility of AlloSeq-cfDNADevelop strong and productive working relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) in the field of transplantationHelp analyze, interpret, and clarify AlloSeq-cfDNA test results in conjunction with other clinical dataProvide on-site clinical support at transplant centers through oral presentations, test result data reviews and interactive resolution of clinician queriesFunction as the primary clinical resource for the Commercial team to support product adoption and expanded use of CareDx productsAssist new product development teams in defining unmet needs, product performance requirements, and launch plansProvide clinical support for Customer Service inquiries and complaintsParticipate in Medical Advisory Board meetings with KOLsParticipate in Clinical Workshop meetings with KOLsSupport company initiatives at clinical and scientific meetingsFunction as a clinical liaison and resource to payer and insurance groupsSupport Clinical Operations as needs with field support at transplant centers participating in CareDx sponsored trials

Qualifications:

Health care professionals with relevant clinical sciences knowledge in organ transplantation (kidney and/or heart preferred) will be considered.Essential qualifications: BSc or MSc. Preferred qualifications: higher degree: PharmD, PhD or MDHigher degree in relevant scientific field and relevant healthcare and / or industry experiencePrior experience in MSL role highly preferred and/or the introduction of new clinical laboratory tests preferredOutstanding oral presentation skills with a portfolio to supportPublication PortfolioAbility to explain how AlloSeq-cfDNA results can be used and added to other available clinical data, interpret clinical scenarios, and communicate diagnostic and management issues in transplant recipientsExperience in establishing strong, collaborative working relationships with cliniciansExperience in establishing strong, collaborative working relationships with internal stakeholder functions (e.g. Sales, Marketing, Regulatory, R&D) and external customersKnowledge of molecular biology and immunology helpfulOutstanding interpersonal skills and collaborative work styleNeed for professional licensure to be in good standing if applicable

The essentials for the role are fluency in German and English and ability to commit to 60% travel
