Senior Credit Analyst – German Market
What if your work could influence how consumer credit is done in one of Europe's most competitive markets?
At Anyfin, we're building fairer and more transparent financial services for millions of people and Germany is our next big chapter. It's the market that will define our growth, our product evolution, and how we make credit decisions for years ahead. To succeed, we're looking for a Senior Credit Analyst who knows the German consumer credit landscape deeply and is excited to work hands-on, build real products, and see the immediate impact of their decisions.
This is a rare opportunity to join a fast-moving fintech where credit is truly core to the business, where your German market expertise will directly shape how we operate, and where you'll influence everything from underwriting flows to pricing logic. If you've been waiting for a role where your experience genuinely matters, this is it.
Why this role mattersGermany is becoming one of Anyfin's most strategic markets and your work will sit at the centre of that growth. The decision rules you design will influence thousands of lending decisions every month. The bureau strategy you shape will determine how we onboard customers. The pricing logic you refine will affect profitability and long-term performance. And the insights you bring from the German market will help us understand not just how to operate but how to win.
This isn't a back-office position. It's a build-the-engine-with-us role where your decisions directly shape customer outcomes, risk quality and business results.
What you'll work onIn this role, you'll take ownership of improving and operating our German credit engine. You will work hands-on with automated decisioning: designing, refining and optimising the logic behind approvals, segmentation and pricing. You will help shape the German application flow and deciding what information matters, which bureaus to use and how different data sources should interact.
You'll bring German market nuance into our risk methodologies and collaborate closely with Data Science on scorecard structure and deployment. Beyond underwriting, you will work with pricing to optimise risk-adjusted returns and customer experience, and you'll help improve servicing processes such as reminders, statements and payment flows. You will also support decisions around external partners and continuously monitor portfolio performance to turn insights into action.
You'll see the impact of your work quickly and iterate fast.
Who you areYou're someone who understands how German consumer credit actually works operationally, not only in theory. You bring hands-on experience from German consumer credit risk and a strong understanding of the local lending landscape, bureaus and risk drivers. You've worked with unsecured lending - loans, instalments or credit cards - and you feel at home in automated decisioning environments where rules and logic drive outcomes.
You enjoy analytical work, feel comfortable with tools such as SQL or Excel, and bring a solid understanding of German consumer credit regulation. You're fluent in both German and English and enjoy collaborating with product, tech, data science and other credit colleagues. Above all, you're someone who likes to take ownership, solve end-to-end problems and build rather than maintain.
Why relocate to Stockholm?Because this is where the magic happens. You'll be close to the product teams, the credit engine, the data scientists and the decision-makers — and you'll play a central role in shaping how we launch and scale Germany.
Stockholm is one of Europe's most vibrant tech hubs: international, creative and easy to settle in, surrounded by water, forests and a high quality of life. And yes — we support your relocation.
Why join Anyfin? You'll join a high-ambition fintech scaleup where credit is not an afterthought but a core part of the product. Your expertise will have real influence, and you'll work in a culture built on curiosity, ownership and continuous learning. This is your chance to shape a market that truly matters for our future — and build something that lasts.
Ready to shape the future of credit in Germany?Apply and join us in Stockholm.
Let's build the next chapter of Anyfin together.
