Stockholm, Stockholm, Sweden Miele Full time

Want to lead the future of premium appliances?

Miele is strengthening its Nordic organisation and is now seeking a Category Marketing Manager to accelerate category growth and shape the product portfolio across the Nordics. This is a strategically important role within a modern, matrix-driven organisation where category excellence is a core growth driver.

For over 125 years, Miele has remained an independent family-owned company built on quality, longevity and long-term relationships. Today, Miele is the globally recognised leader in premium domestic appliances—and the Nordics are a critical region for future growth. The company is on a transformation journey with a sharper focus on omnichannel excellence, data-driven decision-making and elevated commercial execution.

This position offers the opportunity to influence Miele's category performance in a key region, backed by strong brand equity, high product quality and a supportive, people-focused culture.

The position

The Category Marketing Manager is responsible for successfully developing and executing category strategies within the Nordic markets — Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland. This involves driving growth and optimising the product portfolio in line with Miele Nordic's strategic goals.

The role collaborates closely with Brand Marketing, Sales, Global Business Units/Product Development and Operations to deliver exceptional business performance and customer experience. You will also manage and execute the Nordic marketing strategy in line with the global brand strategy across all channels.

The Nordic Category Manager reports directly to the Nordic Marketing Director (located in Stockholm, Sweden) and is part of the dynamic Nordic Marketing Team spanning the four Nordic markets.

The key responsibilities

  • Lead the development of category strategies for your assigned product range, ensuring alignment with Miele's overall goals and market positioning
  • Manage the entire product lifecycle from ideation to launch, ensuring the portfolio remains competitive and aligned with customer needs.
  • Analyze market trends, consumer insights, and competitive landscape to define opportunities and make data-driven decisions. Feedback within Nordics and to the HQ.
  • Drive sales and profitability within your category by identifying growth opportunities and implementing effective go-to market strategies.
  • Work closely with the sales team to set and achieve sales targets, monitor performance and adjust strategies if necessary
  • Lead the coordination of promotional activities and manage the relationship with key retail partners to maximise visibility and sales
  • Oversee all product training measures such as training plans, concept and content for the category, together with the Nordic Training Team.
  • Translate data and insights into actionable plans that improve category performance and customer satisfaction

About Miele

Miele has been an independent family-owned company since its establishment in 1899 and is equally committed to its owners, employees, customers, suppliers, the environment and society. Its strategic vision is to be the world's most trusted and desirable premium brand.

Miele offers products that set the standards for durability, performance, ease of use, energy efficiency, design and service — guided by the principle "Immer Besser", printed on the very first machines by founders Carl Miele and Reinhard Zinkann.
