The world's most popular audio streaming subscription service is looking for a
Senior Full Stack Engineer
to join the band in a consultant assignment. The client has transformed music listening forever when launched in 2008.

About the role

The team works on the development and implementation of genre taxonomies in a multilingual, multicultural environment. They help ensure that the client's content is properly organized and discoverable for people in different markets with different expectations.

We are currently seeking a Senior Fullstack Engineer with focus on backend engineering to help the team develop and expand their genre taxonomy systems. We are looking for someone who understands modern cloud computing and network architecture, and knows how to map technology solutions to business requirements.

What you'll do

  • Responsibilities include solution design and end-to-end implementation of capabilities within an existing set of services and data pipelines. As an engineer in this area you will have the opportunity to implement changes and improvement to complex systems

Who you are

  • You are a skilled backend engineer with experience building and scaling services in Java
  • You have experience working with data pipelines and mapping services
  • You are comfortable working across the stack and have experience with frontend app develop using React and Next.j
  • You have excellent problem-solving and fast decision-making skills with a strong bias for action
  • You have strong writing and communication skills, and are comfortable driving engineering deep dives and workshops, as well as stakeholder demos
  • You are self-driven and can work both independently and as part of a team
  • Experience working with taxonomies is a plus
