We have invented a solar cell technology that enables endless energy, Powerfoyle. We are passionate about the potential of our technology to make products better and easier to use. We build the next generation of clean green industry and unite in the vision of touching the lives of a billion people.

WHO WE ARE

We are on an exciting journey to bring our groundbreaking solar cell technology to the world. Sprung out of the solid Swedish industrial heritage, we are now in the stage of industrializing at scale to create real, impactful change. A novel technology means that most of what we do has never been done before. It's challenging to create something new, and at Exeger we embrace that challenge with grit and passion, because we know that what we do matters.

Are you an experienced payroll professional ready to take the next step into a broader role within Compensation & Benefits (C&B)? We're looking for a Payroll & Compensation Lead to join our HR team, someone who combines deep payroll expertise with curiosity, initiative, and the ambition to shape a modern rewards framework for the company.

In this role, you will take ownership of our payroll operations – managed in close collaboration with our external payroll partner – while also leading the continued development of our Compensation & Benefits structure. You'll ensure that payroll cycles run smoothly, accurately, and in full compliance with Swedish regulations, while supporting the creation of competitive, fair, and business-aligned reward programs.

The C&B agenda at Exeger is still being shaped, which means you will have real influence over how it evolves. To thrive here, you can be your true, structured self while also knowing how to translate your expertise into pragmatic solutions that work in an entrepreneurial, fast-scaling environment. This role is ideal for someone who wants to expand beyond payroll, contribute strategically, and help build a rewards framework that supports both employees and the company's long-term growth.

YOU WILL DO

Coordinating Payroll operations

  • Main point of contact for our external payroll provider and ensure quality, compliance, and timely delivery.
  • Responsible for the monthly payroll process end-to-end – from data validation and approvals to reconciliation and reporting.
  • Review and verify payroll input and output to ensure accuracy in salary calculations, deductions, benefits, and taxes.
  • Support managers and employees with payroll-related questions in a professional and service-minded way.
  • Manage sick-leave administration and reporting to relevant authorities, and support with ad-hoc employment administration and documentation.
  • Ensure compliance within area with all legal, tax, and data protection requirements.

Compensation & Benefits development

  • Accountable for, and leading further development of the company's reward framework, in collaboration with the broader HR team.
  • Partner with the broader team to ensure compensation structures are competitive, transparent, and aligned with business strategy.
  • Oversee the annual salary review, benchmarking and incentive processes, working closely with the HR team and with support from Finance.
  • Responsible for identifying and implementing ongoing improvements and digital solutions to streamline payroll and Compensation & Benefits processes.
  • Develop and oversee the company's pension, insurance, wellness and other employee benefit programs, ensuring compliance and a positive employee experience, and contribute to clear and consistent total rewards communication.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

You have several years of experience in payroll administration, ideally from an organization that outsources its payroll operations. You understand the dynamics of working closely with external providers and have a proven ability to manage and secure delivery through strong collaboration and solid governance.

You're now ready to broaden your scope and take the lead on the company's Compensation & Benefits agenda. You combine accuracy with structure and have a genuine interest in building frameworks and processes that balance compliance, efficiency, and employee experience. You also bring sound judgment and practical insight into what is required, feasible, and cost-effective in a modern C&B setup.

The C&B agenda at Exeger is still being shaped, which means you will have real influence over how it develops. To thrive here, you can be your true, structured self while also knowing how to translate your expertise into pragmatic solutions that work in an entrepreneurial, fast-scaling environment.

If this sounds like you and you're excited about joining a company where the C&B agenda is still being shaped and you can genuinely influence how it develops, then hit the apply button.
