ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Data Product Owner at LeoVegas, you will play a crucial role in defining and delivering our data products, ensuring they align with our business objectives and deliver maximum value to our stakeholders. You will bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions, working closely with data engineers, business intelligence engineers, data scientists, and other product teams. This role requires a strong understanding of data ecosystems, excellent communication skills, and a passion for turning data into actionable insights and valuable products.

YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

  • Champion the vision, strategy, and roadmap for data products, ensuring their alignment with broader company objectives.
  • Gather, analyse and document business requirements from various stakeholders, translating them into clear, concise, and actionable user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Manage the complete lifecycle of data products, from concept and design to development, launch, and gather feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for business stakeholders regarding new product features. 
  • Champion internal promotion of the data products through posts, training and leading internal demo sessions to confirm that the delivered work aligns with expectations.

OUR SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING:

ESSENTIAL SKILLS
  • Proven experience as a Product Owner or similar role, with a strong focus on delivering data products with a high degree of complexity.
  • Solid understanding of data warehousing, ETL processes, and data modelling concepts.
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
  • Experience with SQL and data visualisation tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
NICE TO HAVES
  • Experience in the iGaming industry.
  • Knowledge of cloud data platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure).
  • Understanding of machine learning concepts and their application in data products.
  • Relevant certifications in product management or data analytics.
