As a Senior Designer for heavy woven womenswear at ARKET, you'll lead the creation of standout pieces from blazers to outerwear that define our collections. You'll be part of a collaborative and fast-paced team where your creativity, intuition and fashion intelligence will help shape garments that resonate with modern women across the globe.

Your Responsibilities:
What you will do:

  • Lead the design process for heavy woven womenswear, including sketching, fit development and conceptual thinking.
  • Translate seasonal trends into key silhouettes, materials, colours and details.
  • Collaborate with buyers and concept designers to build a cohesive and commercial assortment.
  • Participate in fittings and ensure garments meet our high standards of fit and design.
  • Conduct ongoing research and analysis of fashion trends, customer behaviour and market movements.
  • Support and mentor junior designers.
  • Take ownership of timelines and drive the design process forward with initiative and creativity.

Who You'll Work With
You will be part of the womenswear assortment team and collaborate closely with concept designers, buyers and fellow designers. Together, you will ensure that each product fits seamlessly into the overall collection and reflects ARKET's brand DNA.

Qualifications
WHO YOU ARE
We are looking for people with…

  • Proven experience as a Senior Designer within womenswear, preferably with a focus on heavy woven garments.
  • Strong hand sketching skills and proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and InDesign.
  • Fashion education from a recognized institution (e.g. London, Paris, Helsinki).
  • Understanding of pattern construction and garment fit.
  • Fluent in English

Additional Information
This is a full time temporary contract for one year based at our Head Office in Södermalm Stockholm
