About the Role

We are looking for an experienced
Mid-Level Informatica IDMC Data Engineer
to design, build, and optimize cloud-based data integration and ETL workflows using Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC). The role involves working across data pipelines, API integration, cloud orchestration, and data quality initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop, configure, and maintain
    ETL/ELT pipelines
    using Informatica IDMC (Cloud Data Integration, Cloud Application Integration, Cloud Data Quality).
  2. Design data integration jobs connecting cloud and on-prem data sources (AWS/Azure/GCP, Databases, APIs).
  3. Build reusable mappings, mapplets, tasks, workflows, and parameterized templates.
  4. Configure and optimize
    Informatica Cloud Tasks
    such as:
  5. Mapping Tasks
  6. Taskflows
  7. Replication Tasks
  8. Synchronization Tasks
  9. Perform data transformation, cleansing, validation, and enrichment.
  10. Integrate data from REST/SOAP APIs, databases, flat files, and cloud storage.
  11. Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize IDMC jobs for performance and reliability.
  12. Implement
    data quality rules
    , profiling, and validations using Informatica Cloud Data Quality.
  13. Collaborate with data architects and business teams to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions.
  14. Maintain documentation including data mappings, workflows, and solution designs.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  1. 3–7 years of hands-on experience in
    Informatica ETL
    , with at least
    2+ years in Informatica IDMC / Informatica Cloud
    .
  2. Strong understanding of Cloud Data Integration (CDI), Taskflows, and Mapping Design.
  3. Strong SQL skills (Oracle, SQL Server, Snowflake, etc.).
  4. Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  5. Knowledge of REST/SOAP API integrations.
  6. Experience with scheduling and orchestration tools (Control-M, Airflow, IDMC Taskflows).
  7. Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and dimensional modeling.
  8. Good debugging, workflow analysis, and performance tuning skills.

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)

  1. Experience with
    Informatica Data Quality (IDQ)
    or
    Data Governance tools
    .
  2. Knowledge of Snowflake, Databricks, or Big Data technologies.
  3. Experience with Python or shell scripting.
  4. Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Git, Jenkins, Azure DevOps).
  5. Exposure to MDM or Data Catalog tools.
