GANT is now looking for a Head of Business Control, GANT North, to lead our regional Business Control team and drive financial excellence across our markets.

This is a parental leave cover position, starting end of February 2026 and running through April 2027.

About The Role
In this role, you will lead and develop the regional Business Control function, ensuring that financial reporting, analysis, and insights support strong commercial decision-making for GANT North, covering Sweden, Denmark, the UK, and Ireland.

You will act as a key business partner to the regional management team, providing accurate and relevant financial information that helps guide performance and drive growth.

The position is based at our head office in Stockholm and includes leadership for one Business Controller in the UK and one Business Controller in Stockholm.

You will collaborate closely with the Global Business Control team to ensure alignment with group standards and contribute to the continuous improvement of global processes and practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop the regional Business Control team to ensure efficient and high-quality performance.
  • Deliver group reporting in line with global standards and timelines.
  • Prepare and compile regional performance reports and business analyses.
  • Translate financial data into actionable insights by understanding key operational drivers.
  • Act as a business partner to local and regional management, supporting decision-making with clear financial perspectives.
  • Lead and drive regional budget and forecast processes.
  • Collaborate closely with Global Business Control to enhance tools, processes, and best practices.

You are a passionate and proactive financial leader with a strong analytical mindset. You have a natural ability to translate complex data into meaningful insights that drive business performance. You are structured, detail-oriented, and thrive in a fast-paced and evolving environment.

  • University degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Business Control or Financial Analysis, preferably within an international or multi-site retail environment.
  • Strong understanding of Business Control, finance processes, and accounting principles (Tax, VAT, GAAP knowledge is a plus).
  • Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills; experience with SAP and Tagetik is an advantage.
  • Fluent in English and Swedish; additional languages are a plus.
  • Passionate, proactive, and persistent with strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
