Main Responsibilities

Project Management & Execution

  • Lead and drive a business transformation project focused on Technical Communication.
  • Plan, execute, and follow up on project activities according to timeline and set goals.
  • Ensure proper governance, documentation, and reporting in line with established project methodology.
  • Identify and manage risks, obstacles, and dependencies to keep the project on track.
  • Take responsibility for budget, resources, and staffing within the project.

Stakeholder Management

  • Coordinate and align a broad network of stakeholders from manufacturing, central functions, and internal technical communication teams.
  • Ensure clear communication and expectation management among all involved parties.
  • Drive collaboration across functions and organizational boundaries to achieve unified implementation.

Team Coordination

  • Coordinate project team members, including IT, tool development, and business representatives.
  • Clarify roles, responsibilities, and deliverables within the team.
  • Support the group in prioritization and problem-solving.

Change Management

  • Lead and support change activities related to new processes, systems, and ways of working.
  • Develop communication and engagement plans to secure understanding and adoption.
  • Prepare the organization for the transition and work closely with stakeholders throughout the change process.

Technical Competence (Mandatory Requirements)

  • Excellent understanding of technical documentation processes and how documentation is used by both end-users and factories.
  • Experience with documentation and translation workflows.
  • Knowledge of templates, structured content, and different document types.
  • Familiarity with CMS and XML-based authoring environments.
  • Understanding of metadata structures, governance, and administration.
  • Experience with SAP equipment structures.
  • Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements and act as a bridge between business and IT.
  • Understanding of how knowledge management connects to technical documentation.

Systems & Tools

Experience with – or the ability to quickly learn – for example:

  • Windchill
  • Arbortext
  • SAP
  • Poka
  • SharePoint
