Maintenance Coordinator – Uppsala Area, Sweden

About the Role:

We are looking for a
Maintenance Coordinator
to join our team in the
Uppsala area
and play a key role in ensuring smooth and efficient operation of our automated warehouse and material handling systems. You will coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance, manage spare parts logistics, and support field service engineers to maintain high system availability for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, schedule, and coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance for automated systems (conveyors, cranes, shuttles, robots, PLCs, etc.).
  • Monitor and update the CMMS/ERP system with maintenance tasks, spare parts usage, and equipment history.
  • Act as the main contact point between customers, service engineers, and internal technical teams for timely issue resolution.
  • Support the maintenance team in troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and control-related issues.
  • Coordinate procurement and inventory management of spare parts and consumables.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality standards.
  • Prepare reports and documentation on maintenance performance, downtime, and service KPIs.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to optimize processes and reduce downtime.

Qualifications:

  • Technical education in Automation, Mechatronics, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (or similar).
  • Experience in maintenance coordination or field service in automated systems, logistics, or manufacturing.
  • Solid understanding of PLC-based systems, drives, sensors, and mechanical components.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills; ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CMMS/ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Maximo).
  • Good command of English (spoken and written); other languages are an advantage.
  • Willingness to occasionally travel to customer sites.
