About the role

As Chief Architecture and Technology, you will play a key role at Agria. You will be part of the Development Management team and report directly to our Head of Development. You will lead and develop the Architecture and Technology team, a group of about 10 cross-functional architects tasked with transforming, modernizing, and operationalizing Agria's enterprise architecture, technology strategy, and governance through clear technology leadership. You will help drive the transition toward a more data-driven Agria and explore the opportunities to transform our business with AI.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Defining goals, frameworks, and guidelines for our technology transformation and our vision of a future-proof IT landscape that will enable us to excel the customer and employee experience and drive efficiency.
• Align architectural target states and roadmaps with business strategy and set roadmaps taking us toward value-driven deliveries.
• Ensuring that our architecture complies with current policies, regulations, security requirements, and contracts while enabling high level of stability and availability.
• Ensuring that Agria's architectural vision, target state and transformation plan are understood and applied at all levels through education, communication, and coaching.
• Establishing necessary processes, tools, and methods for effective architectural work and the realization of our transformation.
• Contributing to the strategic planning of our digital transformation and fostering an understanding of technology's potential at the intersection of IT and business.
• Enabling proactive decision-making and business-driven prioritization in our digital transformation to support our European expansion.
• Contributing to sound and purpose-driven architectural governance across the Länsförsäkringar Group, ensuring Agria's interests in shared IT capabilities are met through participation in central forums.

Who are you?

The following will make you successful in this role:

• A university degree in computer science, information systems, IT, or a related field.
• Experience in system development or digital product development.
• At least 5 years of experience in roles being responsible for enterprise architecture, technology strategy, or similar.
• Experience in technology and architecture governance in major modernization efforts and broad IT landscapes in an international environment.
• At least 5 years of experience leading senior professionals.
• Experience in the insurance industry is preferable.

You possess strong problem-solving skills and have worked with technology driven transformations and multi-sourced, best-of-breed and custom-built architectures. You combine innovation and agility with governance and execution of large-scale transformations. Experience in architectural governance within lean-agile delivery models, preferably based on SAFe, is a plus. You are pragmatic and solution-oriented, thriving when you work collaboratively to achieve ambitious goals.

You are a strong communicator in both Swedish and English, with the ability to engage and influence internal and external stakeholders.
