Due to our continued growth, we are now recruiting for a Software Update Engineer in full vehicle, to strengthen our team in Gothenburg.

The role

Do you want to be part of developing our new focus area, responsible for software updates in complete vehicles and test objects for various purposes and projects? You will be part of a shared service team consisting of experienced colleagues, and we can offer you the opportunity to work with all vehicle programs from the concept phase to the start of production. The clients mission also includes the centralized management of SW updates and coordination with our test farm to ensure efficient and consistent software distribution across all test environments.

Responsibilities

  • Your main responsibility will be to support software updates in test objects and deliver updated test objects to secure further testing with the latest software.
  • This includes updating test objects to the latest baseline or according to customer requirements, as well as downloading and organizing baselines during different project phases.
  • You will work closely with our customers and stakeholders, contributing to a centralized SW-update process and ensuring smooth integration within the test farm.

Requirements

  • BSc or MSc degree in software engineering, computer science or equivalent.
  • You take initiative to introduce new solutions and are not afraid to ask colleagues for help or offer assistance when needed.
  • Driving license B
  • The role requires a driven person with strong computer skills and have a collaborative mindset.
  • Knowledge of Clients internal processes and basic understanding of DSA, PIE R&D, PIE, TEAMS, the test object process, and/or fault tracing are considered meritorious.
