We are looking for a Embedded Test Engineer- Automotive (Test case Developer & Test Automation Engineer) for a global automotive company in Gothenburg.

Start is ASAP, 1 year's contract to begin with, possibility of extension after that.

Description

We are rapidly advancing the development of our next-generation Telematics and Connectivity platform to enable robust Assistance Call Services functionality.

This requires extensive QA of the deliverables and our cross-functional development teams need to secure the design, implementation, and testing/verification of the features. The QA part needs to be done by manual and automated test frameworks to the highest extent possible.

Information about the group/team and department

Connected Experience unit within R&D includes Connectivity, Car Cloud Platform, Infotainment Platform, Applications and Data & Diagnostics. Our vision and strategy are to maximize the attractiveness of owning and make all cars connected and provide a continuously enhanced experience for both new and existing cars. The department Connectivity Platform is responsible for delivering Global Connectivity as a service – E2E including SW and Mobile Network Services. The platform we provide is the prerequisite for all connected applications and services within the vehicle.

Information about project

The project aims at development of "Assistance Call Services" functionality in next generation Telematics & Connectivity Antenna Module (TCAM).

Daily tasks and responsibilities

* Part of a scrum team (~7 persons), working agile on working on backlog items in 2 week sprints.

* All reporting of status and progress in JIRA/Flow and daily standup meetings

Competence Requirements – Experience and background

* Bachelor degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering or similar

* Python

* Manual testing

* Test methodologies like System, Integration and Component testing

* Development of Test Automation frameworks (both Windows and Linux environment)

* Embedded Linux

* CI/CD tools (bash, Git, Gerrit, Jenkins)

* Communicative in speech and writing

* Fluent in English (written and spoken)

* Driving License (EU or Swedish)

* Embedded C/C++

* Application development in C++

* HIL testing

* Agile SW development

* Fluent in Swedish (written and spoken)

* Experience of working in a cross-functional team

Personality

* Driven and self-motivated

* Hungry and not afraid to adopt new challenges

* Good networking skills

* Ready to "walk the extra mile" when needed

This is a full-time consultant position through Incluso in Gothenburg. Start is ASAP, 1 year's contract to begin with, possibility of extension after that.
