Position Overview
As a
Data Engineer
, you play a critical role in building and maintaining the systems that enable reliable, high-quality data across the organization. You will design, develop, and manage the infrastructure that supports our analytics capabilities, ensuring data is accurate, accessible, and secure at every stage. Collaborating closely with business stakeholders, you support the full data lifecycle – from ingestion and cleaning to transformation and preparation – so that insights can be generated effectively. In this role, you will partner with internal teams and external providers, manage incidents and change requests, and create data services and contracts that serve both human users and automated systems. You will also prepare the data foundation needed for upcoming AI initiatives, helping the organization advance toward smarter and more data-driven decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and optimize the data analytics platform to ensure high performance and reliability,
- Act as a key liaison between internal stakeholders and external partners to align data needs, solutions, and integrations,
- Manage incidents and support change management processes to maintain stable and secure data operations,
- Ensure data quality by securing accurate, accessible, and well-governed data across all systems,
- Design and implement data services, pipelines, and contracts that support both human users and automated systems,
- Build and maintain a robust data foundation that enables and accelerates current and future AI initiatives.
Qualifications & Skills
- University degree in IT, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field,
- Solid experience working with Microsoft Power BI and MS SQL Services (SSAS, SSIS, SSRS),
- Strong programming skills, including SQL and Python,
- Proven ability to analyze large and complex data sets using a variety of data and visualization tools,
- Good understanding of business processes with the ability to translate needs into clear reports, dashboards, and insights,
- Strong data modeling skills and experience designing scalable data solutions,
- A structured, logical, and quality-oriented mindset,
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, including the ability to work with senior stakeholders,
- Commitment to knowledge sharing, best practices, and continuous improvement,
- Ability to work effectively in a multicultural and collaborative environment.
Meriting Skills
- Experience in designing and implementing Lakehouse and Data Warehouse architectures,
- Experience working with Microsoft Dynamics 365,
- Familiarity with modern data platforms such as Microsoft Fabric, Snowflake, and Databricks,
- Hands-on experience with MS DevOps and dbt for orchestrating and optimizing data workflows.
