Become the Strategic Technology Leader for our Packaging BusinessAbout the roleAs the Head of I&T North EMEA, you will spearhead the delivery of efficient and effective technology services that drive business success. Your mission is to build strategic capabilities, enable transformational efforts, and embed quality across all systems and processes that deliver for our customers and business.In this pivotal role, you will be the strategic interface between I&T and the Packaging business, acting as the single point of accountability for I&T performance, service delivery, portfolio management, risk management, and budgeting. You will build strong relationships through proactive business engagement, becoming a valued and trusted business partner. Reporting to the I&T organization with a dotted functional line to the Packaging Regional Leadership Team, you will ensure alignment between business objectives and the I&T strategy. You will provide access to technology innovation and advisory, both internally and externally, to maximize value and support the business strategy. Your key responsibilities will include:Collaborating with stakeholders, building relationships, and being the voice of I&T and the businessInfluencing, shaping, and prioritizing the technology strategy and change roadmapOwning the I&T portfolio, managing demand, and leading business case developmentEnsuring effective and efficient technology services, enabling innovation and value deliveryManaging I&T risks, budgets, and accountability for service and project deliveryLeading regional business partners, I&T managers, and Application & Delivery managersProviding matrix leadership for regional infrastructure and service desk teams About you Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience)10+ years of experience across I&T roles in project delivery and application management within multinational matrix organizations in Manufacturing, Supply Chain, or FMCG sectorsMinimum 5 years in an I&T Leadership role, with experience in I&T Operations and Delivery of strategic Change programsStrong business acumen, commercial mindset, and ability to lead cross-functional teams in an international matrix organizationExcellent communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills at all levels, with experience working in multicultural, multi-country teamsSolid grasp of digital transformation concepts, Industry 4.0, and data-driven decision-makingStrong analytical skills with the ability to translate business needs into technical requirementsFluency in English; additional Baltic and/or Nordic languages are an advantage If you are a strategic leader with a passion for technology and a proven track record of driving business success, we invite you to apply for this exciting opportunity. Fair recruitment in DS Smith  Don't meet every single requirement?
