Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Platform Engineer focuses on advancing the maturity of a cloud-native platform with strong emphasis on cloud networking, load balancing, and traffic management for large-scale, distributed systems—particularly IoT environments. The ideal candidate brings deep hands-on expertise with cloud load balancers (GCP preferred) and a strong platform engineering mindset.

Required Experience/Competences:

  • 5+ years of experience as a Platform Engineer, SRE, DevOps Engineer, or similar role.
  • Proven hands-on experience with cloud load balancers (GCP preferred; AWS/Azure acceptable), including L4/L7 routing, ingress gateways, and API traffic patterns.
  • Experience designing load-balancing solutions for IoT ecosystems, high-concurrency systems, or distributed device fleets.
  • Strong knowledge of service proxies such as Envoy (preferred), NGINX, HAProxy, or equivalent.
  • Solid experience with GCP (or equivalent cloud provider) and Terraform. Strong background in CI/CD platforms and workflow design for multi-team environments.

  • Experience with observability and monitoring tools such as Open Telemetry, Grafana, Prometheus, and Google Cloud Monitoring.
  • Working knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL or similar)
