About Your Job
In this role, you maintain the technical backbone of Sandvik's cloud FinOps engagement. You lead the strategy for cloud consumption, ensuring that cost data is reliable, actionable, and delivered through scalable automation. By collaborating across teams, you enable them to make smarter cloud decisions – without compromising speed or agility – and foster a culture of financial accountability. You build smart tooling and processes that turn raw billing data into visibility, actionable insights, and saving opportunities.

Included in your responsibility:

• Design and maintain cost data pipelines from billing services and native clouds.
• Build a pipeline of FinOps recommendations.
• Develop dashboards and datasets for Finance, Product, and Engineering teams.
• Implement anomaly detection, budget alerts, and policy-as-code guardrails.
• Automate tagging compliance, resource hygiene and rightsizing tasks.
• Collaborate with Finance to define and implement chargeback/showback models.
• Manage Reserved Instances, Saving Plans and forecasting utilization.
• Ensure data quality and integrate FinOps tools with ticketing and CI/CD.
• Drive KPI definitions and adoption across the organization.

The location for this position is preferably Stockholm or Sandviken, while other locations may be considered for the right candidate. We offer you a hybrid work solution.

About You
You have a background in computer science, data engineering, information systems, or a related technical field—possibly combined with experience in finance or cloud operations. You're skilled in working with large datasets, building pipelines, and developing dashboards that turn complex cloud billing data into actionable insights. You bring hands-on experience with Azure (AWS is a plus), and you understand the cost dynamics of cloud services. Experience with FinOps practices or certifications (Practitioner or Professional) is an advantage. Fluency in English is essential, and Swedish is a plus.

You take ownership and lead with initiative—always looking for ways to improve systems and processes. You're curious, adaptable, and thrive in a fast-changing tech environment. With strong communication skills, you make complex data understandable to both technical and non-technical audiences. You enjoy solving problems, sharing knowledge, and building strong cross-functional relationships.
