AI Product Tech Specialist

Bring AI into products and into the hands of users. As an AI Product Tech Specialist at Monterro, you'll help Nordic B2B software companies turn promising AI concepts into robust, production-ready features. Working hands-on with engineering teams and CTOs, you'll guide everything from architecture to deployment bridging the gap between AI experiments and real-world impact.

We're looking for an AI Product Tech Specialist to provide hands-on, end-to-end technical support to our portfolio companies as they integrate AI into their products. You'll work across the full spectrum, from architectural strategy to production code, helping established B2B software companies move to real, user-facing AI features.

You'll act as a technical partner to CTOs and engineering teams, designing solutions, building production-ready systems, setting up evaluation frameworks, and implementing reliable AI features. Your focus is technical execution and enablement, working shoulder-to-shoulder with developers while advising leadership on technical strategy.

Your mission

Your goal is to leave each company with working AI features, technical capabilities to iterate independently, and the confidence to continue building. You will also guide teams across the data lifecycle, from collection and transformation to annotation and secure storage, which forms the foundation for AI features.

• Design and implement AI-powered product features with engineering teams
• Support rapid prototyping, testing, and deployment of AI solutions
• Translate business needs into technical designs and scalable architectures
• Build production pipelines for data, model training, evaluation, and monitoring
• Optimize model selection, latency optimization, and deployment tradeoffs
• Set up evaluation frameworks: accuracy, relevance, cost, latency, drift
• Support the transition from proof-of-concept to production-grade AI
• Run workshops and code sessions to upskill internal teams
• Build reusable tools, documentation, and AI playbooks across the portfolio
• Stay on top of emerging tools (LLMs, orchestration frameworks, agents) and share insights with teams across the portfolio

You will bring

• 5+ years of experience building and deploying AI/ML systems in production
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field
• Academic background or coursework in AI
• Strong programming skills with modern ML/DL frameworks
• Hands-on experience with LLMs: fine-tuning, RAG, agents, custom integrations
• Experience with understanding of MLOps, cloud deployment, CI/CD, containerization
• Experience shipping AI-powered features to production and customers
• Fluent in English; Swedish or another Nordic language is a plus
