About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Application Engineer with expertise in
Azure Communication Services
,
Azure Communication Direct Routing
, telephony, and contact center configuration on Azure. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience integrating
CoPilot Bots
with
Microsoft Dynamics 365
, along with proficiency in
Direct Line API
,
Power Platform
,
Power Platform Connectors
,
AI Builder
,
Azure Language Studio
, and
Copilot Studio
to deliver intelligent, automated, and seamless customer engagement solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement enterprise communication solutions using
    Azure Communication Services
    , including voice, chat, and telephony.
  • Configure and manage
    Azure Communication Direct Routing
    for scalable telephony integrations.
  • Integrate
    CoPilot Bots
    within
    Microsoft Dynamics 365
    utilizing
    Azure Communication Services
    to enable advanced conversational AI experiences.
  • Architect and deploy
    contact center
    solutions leveraging Azure communication technologies and Microsoft Dynamics 365.
  • Develop and maintain integrations using
    Power Platform
    (Power Apps, Power Automate) and
    Power Platform Connectors
    to automate workflows and enhance user experience.
  • Deploying security best practices in the Azure Infrastructure, including PII data handling
  • Utilize
    AI Builder
    to incorporate AI-driven features such as form processing, object detection, and prediction models into communication solutions.
  • Leverage
    Azure Language Studio
    capabilities to design natural language understanding (NLU) models, language understanding, and conversational AI enhancements.
  • Utilize
    Copilot Studio
    to build, customize, and optimize AI assistant capabilities tailored for Dynamics 365 and communication workflows.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align technical solutions with business objectives.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to telephony, bot integration, AI services, and Power Platform components.
  • Document system architectures, integrations, configurations, and operational procedures.
  • Stay current with emerging Azure, AI, and Microsoft Dynamics technologies and best practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven hands-on experience with
    Azure Communication Services
    and
    Azure Communication Direct Routing
    .
  • Strong knowledge of enterprise telephony systems, SIP trunking, and contact center technologies.
  • Proficiency in
    Power Platform
    , including
    Power Apps
    ,
    Power Automate
    , and building/using
    Power Platform Connectors
    .
  • Practical experience with
    AI Builder
    for embedding AI capabilities into applications and workflows.
  • Familiarity with
    Azure Language Studio
    for building and managing conversational AI and natural language understanding.
  • Experience with
    Copilot Studio
    for creating AI-powered assistants within Dynamics 365.
  • Solid understanding of Microsoft Dynamics 365 customization and integration.
  • Strong scripting and automation skills (PowerShell, Azure CLI).
  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Microsoft certifications in Azure, Power Platform, Dynamics 365 and AI.
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices, CI/CD workflows using GitHub and GitHub actions, and agile methodologies.
  • Prior experience in customer service or contact center environments.
