Senior Frontend Developer

Inspired by Scandinavian style, we provide a wide range of wall art and mounting solutions that help people create beautiful spaces.

We're now looking for a Senior Frontend Developer (SEO & Performance) - a unique hybrid role for someone who thrives at the intersection of technical SEO leadership and hands-on web development. You'll own backlink strategies, drive technical SEO improvements and be the one who codes and implements performance optimizations that directly impact our organic growth. You'll also join our growing team of 7 developers, collaborating closely to shape the future of our e-commerce platform.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

SEO Leadership

• Develop and execute strategic link-building to boost domain authority and search rankings.
• Source and acquire premium backlink opportunities through outreach, partnerships and content-driven approaches.
• Perform comprehensive technical SEO audits, including image SEO performance, using tools like Ahrefs and Screaming Frog.
• Oversee and maintain backlink profiles, preserving strong link equity.
• Measure performance with Looker, BQ, GA4, GSC, and create actionable reporting.
• Collaborate across content, e-commerce, PR, and marketing teams to embed SEO principles in all channels.

Web Development & Technical Execution

• Implement SEO-driven technical improvements across site architecture, Core Web Vitals, structured data, crawlability, and indexation.
• Build, optimize, and maintain SEO-focused website features and landing pages.
• Collaborate with content and e-commerce teams to ensure site changes support organic growth.
• Proactively improve site performance (speed, mobile-first design, and accessibility).
• Work hands-on with React, TypeScript and to deliver SEO and UX enhancements.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Minimum 3 years experience in an SEO role, with a clear focus on off-page and technical SEO.
• Proven success in link-building, outreach and domain authority growth.
• Strong understanding of SEO fundamentals: site speed, indexation, schema markup, crawl optimisation, and large e-commerce catalogues.
• Hands-on development skills: React, TypeScript and (plus server-side factors).
• Confidence using SEO tools (Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, GA4) and analytics (Looker/BQ).
• Excellent reporting skills, translating data into clear insights.

We're looking for you with a proactive, results-oriented mindset with strong ownership of both strategy and execution. You have a genuine interest for web development. You combine a strategic mindset with hands-on execution and thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

IT'S A PLUS IF YOU HAVE

• Experience with CMS platforms, Python, or large language models (LLMs).
• Knowledge of CRO, automation, or e-commerce development workflows.

Our group consists of around 100 employees representing over 20 nationalities and together we're solving problems every day to help the world become a more beautiful place with our affordable art.

Extent: Full-time, with a 6-month probation period.
