About the RoleOur Particle Laboratories, located at the Camfil Tech Center in Trosa, are part of Camfil R&D and support the development and testing of air filtration solutions. We conduct a wide range of tests and analysis of air, filter media, air filters, housings, and raw materials to improve products and support customers in their understanding of their needs. A key focus area is the development of new filters, transitioning from traditional glass fiber to advanced synthetic materials, which presents new challenges and opportunities. As a laboratory engineer, you'll assist in testing, analysis, and exploring ways to improve our test methods and equipment.
What You'll Do- Conduct field/laboratory testing and associated quality control processes.
- Help develop/purchase and maintain lab equipment and ensure their compliance with safety and relevant ISO standards.
- Perform data analysis and documentation in the form of reports.
Support ongoing research and development projects.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Materials, or related field).
- A keen interest in laboratory work and analytical research, preferentially with a background in material research or development
- Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking.
- Fluency in English – as we are a diverse workplace with colleagues from all parts of the world, English is essential.
