Senior Financial Controller – Nordics

We are looking for an ambitious and analytically strong finance professional to join our Nordic leadership team as Senior Financial Controller – Nordics. This role is ideal for someone currently working as a Financial Controller, Senior Analyst, or Finance Business Partner who is ready to take on broader regional responsibilities and develop into a future Finance Manager role.

As Senior Financial Controller, you will play a key part in financial planning, reporting, statutory oversight, and performance management across Sweden, Norway, and Finland. You will collaborate closely with leaders in Operations, Sales, Marketing, P&C, and Supply Chain to ensure financial goals align with commercial strategy.

Principle Accountabilities

• Drive performance through analysis of results versus budget and forecast, supporting scenario planning and preparing insights for senior stakeholders.
• Lead core FP&A processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning for the Nordic markets.
• Support and coordinate accounting, statutory reporting, and controlling activities, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and alignment with group standards.
• Partner with cross-functional teams (Operations, Sales, Marketing, P&C, Supply Chain) to ensure business decisions are financially robust.
• Identify risks, strengthen internal controls, and support the implementation of mitigation strategies.
• Mentor and support junior finance colleagues, developing leadership capability and preparing for future people-management responsibilities.

Skills and Experience Required

• Strong experience in controlling, FP&A, financial analysis, or business partnering within a matrixed or multinational environment (FMCG preferred but not essential).
• Solid grasp of financial processes, reporting, and compliance across multiple markets.
• Advanced analytical and modelling skills; proficiency in SAP, Anaplan, Power BI, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management abilities, with the confidence to influence senior leaders.
• A growth-oriented mindset and an interest in progressing into a Finance Manager role in the future.
• Fluency in English; knowledge of a Nordic language is a plus.
