GU Executive Education AB (GU ExEd) is seeking an ambitious and passionate Sales & Business Development Manager to join our team full-time.

GU ExEd is wholly owned by GU Ventures AB, the University of Gothenburg incubator.

Since 2008, together with the School of Business, Economics and Law and other faculties at the University of Gothenburg, we successfully design and deliver university-based leadership programmes, blending academic excellence with real-world relevance.

Work description:

As Sales & Business Development Manager, you will play a vital role in the continued growth of GU ExEd. You will build long-term and trusted relationships with existing and new customers, positioning our comprehensive portfolio of leadership programmes ranging from 2 days to 21 months (Gothenburg Executive MBA). Working closely with prospects and customers gives you the opportunity to understand their business needs and then develop and propose compelling executive education solutions addressing those needs. You will identify and prioritize both internal and external resources enabling customer-facing initiatives to build a healthy and growing pipeline of prospecting activities. Once into programme delivery, together with our Academic Programme Directors, you will coordinate internal and external resources to deliver on high customer expectations. 

Your Profile: To be successful in the position, you should have:

  • A proven track record of driving sales growth by proactively engaging, calling, and following up on leads and customers, effectively building long-term relationships with key decision-makers and industry leaders in an international and multicultural sales and marketing context.
  • Experience in running a business unit with performance and budget responsibility
  • Executive level communication and negotiation skills.
  • Complete fluency in English and Swedish.
  • An academic degree in business administration or other relevant field.
  • A positive, can-do personality.

You'll play a central role in delivering high-quality learning experiences – from first contact to final evaluation – with a strong focus on service, structure, and collaboration.
