Head of Accounting

We're now looking for a Head of Accounting to our Group Finance team to join us in making the energy transition happen – maybe that's you?

As Head of Accounting, you'll own and lead group-wide accounting and reporting across Sweden, Norway, Germany, and the Netherlands. As a growing scale-up, we need someone who can lead the evolution of our financial operations—scaling processes, managing compliance, and driving continuous improvement in a dynamic international environment. This is a senior, hands-on role, ideal for you who thrives in both detail and strategy.

You'll deliver a reliable monthly close, ensure timely consolidation and group reporting, complete annual financial statements, secure a smooth group audit, implement transfer pricing documentation, strengthen VAT/tax compliance, and drive process/ERP (NetSuite) improvements - all while coaching local teams and collaborating with stakeholders cross-functionally.

• Develop and maintain group accounting policies, internal controls, and transfer pricing.

• Own group consolidation, financial reporting, and the annual group audit.

• Lead end-to-end accounting operations: close, reconciliations, intercompany, and GL integrity across entities.

• Ensure VAT/tax/statutory compliance and filings.

• Drive automation with NetSuite and adjacent tools.

• Lead and coach distributed accounting teams; partner with the CFO and cross-functional stakeholders.
  
  

We believe that you are a curious and communicative leader driven by impact, that enjoys turning strategy into execution. You're comfortable in fast-paced environments and thrive when given clear goals and high accountability.

• 7+ years in senior accounting/finance with strong IFRS and multi-country VAT/statutory experience. Experience from changing accounting standards is a plus.

• Background in international/multi-entity environments; group reporting and audit ownership.

• Hands-on with ERP (NetSuite or similar) and modern finance tooling; detail-oriented and structured.

• Proven leadership of distributed teams; collaborative, reliable and pragmatic; and fluent in English.
