Senior Strategic Buyer

We are looking for a Strategic Buyer for a company in Gothenburg. Start is in January 2026, 6 months limited contract to begin with.

The purchasing team is a small team with very close collaboration with their business teams. They work with broad and varied portfolios and often handled cases outside of their normal scope. Also as a Senior Buyer you need to be prepared to work very hands on, and also support in more tactical and operational tasks.

Activies include


• Proactive communication with relevant stakeholders and analysis of spend data, to identify business needs and plan relevant sourcing and negotiation activities accordingly.


• Perform relevant sourcing projects and contract negotiations to achive cost reduction targets, anchoring with all relevant stakeholders (Business, legal, finance, etc).


• Govern and follow-up contracts and suppliers, monitoring performance, and mitigating risks.


• Ensure purchasing involvement and that sourcing, agreements, and purchase requests are handled in compliance with policies, directives, and processes.


• Prepare and present decision material, and secure appropriate documentation is in place for future track reckord.


• Review incoming purchase request to make sure they have been managed appropriately.


• Develop, document, and communicate the way of working in the category, such as buying guides, templates, etc, to enable efficient and qualitative sourcing and purchase operations.


• Contribute to general development and continuous improvement of the Procurement function and way of working, incl development of new tools, general templates and processes.

Role requirements


• Minimum 3-5 years in similar role.


• Industry expertise (supplier market in relevant categories).


• Contracts review experience (legal training and many years of contract negotiations required) .


• Advanced negotiations.


• Project Management and presentation to senior management.


• Very strong collaboration and communications skills.


• Driving towards results / Very result oriented.


• Strong communications, presentation & influencing skills.


• Problem solving, Analytical skills, and Solution orientation.


• Advanced user in PPT & Excel.


• Experience of SAP Fiori for procurement is a plus.

This role requires fluency in English, both written and spoken.

This is a full-time consultant position in Gothenburg through Incluso. Start is in January 2026 , 6 months limited contract to begin with.
