Role Description

We are looking for a UGC & Music Video Specialist to join our innovative and forward-thinking Rights & Commercial team. This team sits at the heart of our Artist & Label Services, playing a crucial role in delivering success for our independent artists. In this role, you'll take ownership of music video distribution and rights management across our immense roster of 10k+ licensed recordings. Your work will ensure smooth delivery and optimization across global User-Generated Content (UGC) platforms, including YouTube and TikTok.

This position is ideal for a detailed and organized individual, with a profound and genuine passion for the music industry. We're looking for a challenger mindset, ready to explore and cater to the needs of independent artists

Responsibilities:

  • Manage rights and recordings across key user-generated content (UGC) platforms such as YouTube and TikTok
  • Research rights-related issues, such as user disputes, and resolve these through communication with relevant stakeholders
  • Take ownership for troubleshooting and proactively identifying any issues related to YouTube and UGC operations among internal partnership teams, clients, and suppliers
  • Provide expert guidance to artists and labels on YouTube and UGC operations.
  • Develop and implement strategies to ensure the quality of the Amuse catalog on YouTube and other UGC platforms
  • Manage Music Video distribution (Spotify, YouTube, Apple Music, Tidal, etc)
  • Collaborating with Content Operations and Product teams, assisting with metadata and YouTube expertise

Qualities and skills you possess:

  • Experience working in YouTube CMS. Experience in TikTok and Meta's CMS is a huge plus
  • Experience with reading and handling music licensing agreements
  • Knowledge in music metadata
  • Knowledge regarding different video requirements is an advantage
  • Strong verbal and written proficiency in English
