About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and service-minded Global Technical Support Engineer to join our dynamic team at ABB. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in delivering world-class support to our customers, providing timely and effective solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with our sales teams to offer expertise in electrical and thermal design, ensuring customer needs are met while adhering to environmental conditions and internal design standards.
- Be responsible for the electrical design of machines during manufacturing and evaluating their performance in final testing, often in front of our customers.
- Empower our sales teams and customers by sharing your knowledge of electrical machine theory.
Requirements
- A solid interest in technology and strong personal leadership skills.
- A Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering with a focus on electrical power and rotating electrical machines, or equivalent. Recent graduates are welcome to apply.
- Fluency in written and spoken English is a must. Swedish is considered a plus.
- An analytical mind and the ability to make sound decisions regarding technical solutions.
- A helpful and service-minded attitude.
