Key Responsibilities
  • Lead player insights efforts for live games, utilizing surveys to engage and understand our dedicated community, tracking player behavior and sentiment.
  • Own and drive larger-scale research projects, such as annual player surveys and ongoing motivational player segmentation, to inform strategic planning.
  • Coordinate external playtests and user research projects by collaborating with third-party vendors to ensure smooth execution.
  • Work closely with internal teams (UX, game design, marketing, data analysts) to identify research needs and align on goals.
  • Analyze survey data and other qualitative and quantitative feedback to provide actionable insights that influence game development and player engagement strategies.
  • Present key findings to stakeholders to drive decisions and optimize the player experience.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in player insights within the gaming industry.
  • Experience in working with player segmentation to identify and cater to diverse player needs and behaviors.
  • Understanding of user research methods, particularly designing and analyzing surveys to gather player feedback.
  • Proven experience coordinating external research projects and working with third-party research vendors.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple research projects simultaneously.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to present findings effectively to non-research stakeholders.
  • Passion for gaming, with a strong understanding of player behaviors and industry trends.
