About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled CFD/Dialectical simulation engineer to join our Technology Centre in Sweden. As a Simulation Expert, you will be responsible for the R&D projects and maintaining/supporting the technology of our existing HV Live Tank Breakers.

Your Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement CFD/Dialectical simulation models for HV Circuit Breakers
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and improvement
  • Ensure that the team is resourced, developed, and equipped to meet the business needs
  • Support and drive continuous improvement activities to improve processes, procedures, and effectiveness within your area of responsibility
  • Contribute to the development of new technologies and products
  • Live Hitachi Energy's core values of safety and integrity, taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business

Your Background

  • MSc. level degree in a relevant field
  • Proven experience in CFD/Dialectical simulation, preferably in HV products
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • A genuine interest in technology and R&D development
