COWI is seeking a skilled Hydraulic Modeling Expert to join our team in Sweden. As a key member of our global projects team, you will work closely with colleagues from Sweden, Denmark, Poland, and Norway to deliver high-quality hydraulic modeling solutions.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Manage projects involving 1D and 2D hydraulic models, perform calculations, and prepare comprehensive reports.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvements.
- Compile computational data for simulations using MIKE software.
- Develop and implement MIKE modeling solutions, creating detailed reports to support decision-making.
- Lead smaller projects and mentor junior colleagues.
Your Skills and Qualifications:
- Relevant education in hydraulics, with a minimum of 7 years of experience in hydraulic modeling, including 1D and 2D modeling for various scenarios.
- Strong analytical skills, with proficiency in hand calculations of discharge and dimensioning.
- Familiarity with MIKE software suite, including MIKE+, MIKE11, MIKE Urban, MIKE Flood, and ArcGIS/QGIS.
- Proven problem-solving skills and fluency in Swedish and English, both written and verbal.
