Master Data Governance Opportunity

Epiroc Group seeks a highly skilled Chief Data Governance Strategist – Master Data to shape and manage global standards, policies, and processes for critical Master Data objects. This includes everything from parts and suppliers to customers and service definitions.

The ideal candidate will have a blend of technical expertise and business acumen, with 3–5 years of experience in data analysis, data architecture, data science, or statistics. A degree in Data/Data Analytics Sciences or equivalent professional experience is required.

Key responsibilities include defining and maintaining data standards and profiling rules across key domains, providing technical support to project teams, extracting and integrating data from source applications to assist with analytics and system integrations, and contributing to the design of data quality dashboards.

The successful candidate will work closely with project teams to provide technical support, extract and integrate data from source applications, and contribute to the design of data quality dashboards. They will also analyze Master Data processes for continuous improvement and support the creation of a Master Data library for business transformation projects.

In this role, you will be an effective collaborator across all levels of the organization, fostering a unified effort toward shared goals. The position is located in Örebro or Fagersta, Sweden, with occasional travel required.

To succeed in this role, you will bring a strong background in Master Data Management and Governance in a global corporate setting, with hands-on experience in creating and maintaining data models and libraries. Familiarity with Master Data-related aspects in systems such as M3, SAP, Oracle, and Teamcenter is also required.

You will define and maintain data standards and profiling rules across key domains while working closely with project teams to provide technical support, extract and integrate data from source applications, and contribute to the design of data quality dashboards. Additionally, you will analyze Master Data processes for continuous improvement and support the creation of a Master Data library for business transformation projects.
