About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Embedded Systems Developer to join our ambitious Project Team at Hitachi Vantara Corporation. As an integral part of our strategy-building process, you will contribute your expertise to shaping the roadmap for the next generation of our platform.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain features in the entire Android Stack
  • Analyze performance and stability in the Android stack for the infotainment system
  • Focus on Platform-related feature development, such as device configuration and mode switching
  • Forecast system capacity for RAM, storage, and CPU (collaborate with the HW team)
  • Develop test cases to ensure system functionality after integration events
  • Define build configurations
Requirements
  • 5+ years of relevant work experience
  • Good knowledge of Embedded Systems, C++, algorithms, data structures, and software architecture principles
  • Experience with Android - AOSP (performance boot optimization, boot optimization)
  • Knowledge of Linux and performance test development
  • Excellent communication skills and very good knowledge of English (spoken and written)
Preferred Skills
  • Knowledge of AOSP test frameworks (CTS, ATS, VTS)
  • Experience in Automotive and Java
  • Knowledge of Python-based FW: pyTest, Robot
