Movement Therapist

This role involves working closely with patients, families, and healthcare teams to deliver exceptional care.

The Physiotherapist will:

• Evaluate patients to determine impairment extent and prognosis for improvement.
• Create individual treatment plans based on test results and other pertinent information.
• Gather data from various sources and develop specific goals and plans, revising them as necessary.
• Consider patient variables such as overall medical condition, stamina, motivation, etc., when planning treatment programs.
• Select, fit, and train patients in the use of assistive devices, adaptive equipment, or orthotics.
• Prepare electronic documentation required by the profession and department, including evaluation results, treatment plans, progress reports, and other relevant reports.

• Bachelor's Degree required; Master's or Doctorate degree preferred.
• One to two years of acute inpatient therapy experience required.
• Licensed Physical Therapist in Arizona and Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR certification required.
• Expertise in physical therapy to optimize movement, improve patient experience, and prevent disability following disease or injury.
• Knowledge of best practices to ensure optimal patient care.
• Skill in assessing needs and limitations to better assist patients.
