The Role:

We are seeking an experienced Solutions Architect to join our Group Function IT team. In this role, you will be accountable for designing and implementing data solutions across Skanska Group HQ, ensuring they align with our business strategy and technology standards. Your primary focus will be on the long-term effectiveness, cost optimization, and standardization of our data solutions, while maintaining compliance with Skanska's policies and guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design & Development: Design technical solutions that align with business goals, ensuring projects meet both short- and long-term objectives.
  • Strategic Alignment: Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure all data projects align with the overarching business strategy and technology standards.
  • Collaborative Partnership: Work closely with development teams to ensure effective implementation of solutions and technologies.
  • Holistic Solution Delivery: Provide strategic input for Group Functions and other affected departments by delivering integrated data solutions driven by business requirements.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as a bridge between technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and understanding across teams.

About You:

We are seeking a results-driven, customer-focused professional with extensive expertise in data architecture. You should possess an ability to think critically, considering how various functions and processes impact data design and technology. With strong leadership skills, you can manage complex projects and communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience: 8+ years in Data Architecture and Design.
  • Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of solution design in processes, data, and technology.
  • Holistic Thinking: Ability to aggregate and synthesize requirements from multiple functions and processes.
  • Language: Fluency in English (both written and spoken) is preferred.

  • Strong Communication Skills: Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Self-Motivation: High level of initiative with the ability to work independently and take ownership of projects without the need for constant oversight.
