About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Engineer to join our team at Northvolt.

Job Description

Overview: As a Cybersecurity Engineer, you will play a key role in safeguarding our digital assets and infrastructure against cyber threats. You will build and maintain systems relating to the Cyber Defence Centre, continuously enhance our capabilities through automation, procedures, onboarding, and understanding data sources.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Perform Security Engineering tasks (build, maintain, and further develop) in Azure (Sentinel), Microsoft 365, AWS, and other solutions managed by Northvolt.
  • Proactively work towards continual improvements of security processes, tools, and routines.
  • Configure, troubleshoot, and maintain security infrastructure software and hardware.
  • Monitor systems for irregular behavior, set up preventive measures, and use cases.
  • Develop, execute, and track the performance of security measures to protect information and network infrastructure, devices, and systems.
  • Define and continuously improve the way of working based on the cybersecurity architecture and the needs of the organization.
  • Support the different disciplines within the Cyber Defence Centre (and extended Security team) in creating/enhancing capabilities and workflows.

Your Background: We are looking for a highly motivated individual with 5 or more years of experience as a Security Engineer or related position. You should have experience in security monitoring and incident response handling, cyber threat mitigation using SIEM tools, and Cloud Security Engineering.
