The Department of Physics at Stockholm University is a leading research institution with a strong focus on experimental and theoretical physics.

Experimental quantum technology with a focus on quantum sensing is a key area of research within the department.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting research and teaching in the field of experimental quantum technology, with a focus on quantum sensing.

Some emphasis will be placed on scientific proficiency, while pedagogical proficiency will also be considered.

About the Position

This is a full-time fixed-term position for up to six years, with the possibility of extension to eight years if special circumstances arise.

The position is part of the university's tenure track and is regulated by the Higher Education Ordinance.

After application and review, the assistant lecturer may be promoted to permanent employment as a senior lecturer.
