We are seeking a highly motivated doctoral researcher to join our team at the KTH Royal Institute of Technology. As a Doctoral Researcher in Pulping Technology, you will contribute to advancing the field of oxygen delignification for pulp production.

The successful candidate will be part of the research group in pulp technology and wood chemistry at KTH, working under the supervision of Professor Gunnar Henriksson and other esteemed researchers. Your primary responsibility will be to investigate the feasibility of replacing conventional chemical pulp production processes with oxygen delignification.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and execute experiments to evaluate the efficiency of oxygen delignification
  • Analyze data and results to inform process optimization
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop new methods and techniques
  • Publish research findings in reputable scientific journals

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, or a related field
  • Demonstrated experience in laboratory research and experimentation
