We are seeking a highly skilled Solar Engineer to join our team at DNV. As a trusted advisor, you will provide expert services to our customers and support them in transitioning to a deeply decarbonized energy system.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Contribute to winning new external work by identifying opportunities, defining solutions for customers, and bidding for contracts.
  2. Manage projects across several competence areas, ensuring seamless execution and delivery.
  3. Conduct risk assessments for technical due diligence of pre-construction and operational projects, including data analysis, documentation review, contract review, design and technology assessment, and energy production evaluations.
  4. Conduct market studies and bankability assessments to inform business decisions.
  5. Perform technical inspections, monitor construction progress, and provide drawdown signoffs to ensure project quality.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  1. At least five years of experience in the solar sector, preferably in consultancy or engineering companies.
  2. A Bachelor's or Master's degree in solar/renewable energy, engineering, electric, statistics, atmospheric science, mathematics, physics, or a related discipline.
  3. Experience in operating Solar PV Plants in European countries.
  4. Proficiency in English and Swedish.
  5. Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.
  6. Be prepared for short travels across the country and internationally. A valid driving license is required.
