We are looking for a Compliance Engineer for Global R&D Materials to support our teams in ensuring that our products and processes meet the highest environmental, health, and safety standards.

About the Role

This role involves evaluating and selecting materials and chemicals for use in our products and processes, ensuring compliance with relevant legislations and industry standards. You will be responsible for collaborating with cross-functional teams to define material requirements and specifications.

Your Responsibilities
  1. Evaluate and select materials and chemicals for use in our products and processes.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define material requirements and specifications.
  3. Support supply chain and quality departments with audits.
  4. Conduct technology scouting to understand industry trends and developments in materials science.
  5. Design and execute experiments to characterize and qualify new materials.
  6. Develop detailed reports on material testing results.
  7. Transcend your knowledge of chemical and materials properties.
  8. Work closely with suppliers and vendors to source and evaluate alternative materials.
  9. Provide technical expertise on material selection and processing.
Your Background
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in materials characterization methodologies.
  • Strong knowledge of global product material compliance regulations.
  • University degree in chemistry, materials science, engineering, or related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
