About the Position

We are seeking an experienced Senior SCADA System Engineer to lead our HVDC Upgrade project team in Ludvika, Sweden. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for integrating SCADA systems into control and upgrade tenders, as well as worldwide project executions.

Your Key Qualifications

  • You hold an engineering-related degree, ideally in computer science with a specialization in data communication and network technology. Similar training can also be considered.
  • Experience in data communication and network technology, with a focus on SCADA, is essential.
  • You should have experience with protocols used for energy automation systems, such as IEC 60870-5-101/104, IEC 61850, DNP3, and the corresponding communication structures, as well as data engineering.
  • You have been involved in both engineering and commissioning activities in previous roles.
  • You are proficient in English, as you will be working in an international setting where you will need to communicate with people from all over the world to build internal and external relationships. Competency in Swedish is also desirable.
  • Previous experience with Hitachi Energy's product portfolio, MicroSCADA, and AVEVA System Platform (InTouch), is a significant advantage.
