Responsibilities
  • VAT Compliance: Ensure end-to-end VAT compliance, including preparation of VAT returns and other VAT-related reports.
  • Support to Accounts Payable and Logistics: Support the accounts payable and logistics team in VAT-related matters, such as contracting and import of goods and services, both EU and non-EU.
  • Legislative Updates: Ensure the organization is up-to-date on changes in VAT legislations.
  • VAT Process Standardization: Support in VAT process standardization projects, such as ensuring a correct VAT set-up in our ERP system.
  • Month-End Closing Procedure: Support month-end closing procedure with regards to VAT.
  • Internal and External Control Processes: Ensure internal and external control processes in the area of VAT.
Qualifications
  • Strong Experience in VAT Compliance: Strong experience in VAT compliance and import VAT rules.
  • VAT Regulations Knowledge: Knowledge of VAT regulations within and outside the EU.
  • Team Support: Ability to support various teams on VAT-related matters.
  • Organizational and Communication Skills: Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Language Skills: Fluency in Swedish.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Interest in Corporate Income Tax: Interest in corporate income tax.
  • Import Experience: Experience with the import of goods and services outside of Europe.
