As a Renewable Energy Consultant, you will work alongside other technical experts to deliver advisory services to our current clients while identifying new prospects.

This role provides an opportunity to deepen your understanding of the technical components of solar photovoltaic (PV) installations through active involvement in various initiatives, performing Energy Production Evaluations, conducting site assessments, analyzing contractual agreements, overseeing bidding processes, and supervising construction and operational activities.

Additionally, the position encompasses aspects of business growth, marketing, and sales assistance. You will collaborate within the region to build enduring client relationships, stay updated on industry trends and requirements, and engage in industry events to promote DNV's service offerings within the energy sector.

As a key member of the Solar & Battery Storage division, you will work closely with seasoned Consultants and Specialists from various teams both regionally and globally, utilizing the company's extensive networks to enhance the energy advisory practice and improve project delivery standards.

Your key responsibilities as a Renewable Energy Consultant include:

Managing small-scale, less complex projects Conducting technical evaluations during the pre-construction and operational stages of projects, including data analysis, documentation assessment, and risk evaluation Reviewing and optimizing technology and design for solar PV installations (both utility and commercial & industrial scale) Performing site assessments at solar facilities Conducting Solar Resource Evaluations and Energy Production Evaluations Contributing to securing new external projects by expanding existing engagements. To be a successful candidate, you should possess:

Prior experience in the solar industry, ideally with at least two years in consultancy or engineering firms A Bachelor's or Master's degree in solar/renewable energy, engineering, physics, or a related field Proficiency in English and Swedish Willingness to travel short distances domestically and internationally Familiarity with PVsyst and other PV modeling software, AutoCAD, and Python Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, and Teams A valid driving license.
