This role presents an exciting opportunity to leverage production expertise in cutting-edge fields. You will oversee resources for projects related to the Train Control and Information System (TC&IS) domain, including sub-systems, software, and verification & test. Additionally, you will support the consistent development of competencies required for this domain.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Apply standardized processes and methodologies to ensure domain efficiency within project development.
  • Define, develop, and share reusable design patterns in their domain.
  • Promote continuous improvement initiatives in their team.
  • Manage traceability and configuration of tools used by their team.
  • Support tenders on costing issues and projects on technical or process issues.
  • Assign resources for executing project engineering work packages.
  • Manage workload, including subcontracted parts.
  • Contribute to subcontracting strategy in liaison with Sourcing.
  • Evaluate performance and set objectives for their team.
  • Define training plans according to their team's needs and Alstom's strategy.
  • Network with other sites to share workload, Return on Experience, and Technology topics.
  • Propose investments for HW & SW necessary to ensure deliveries on projects.
  • Manage their domain using regularly updated KPIs.
  • Keep informed of QCD for projects their team contributes to, proposing improvements if necessary.
  • Initiate and follow up action plans to solve issues common across projects.
