Your RoleAs a Business Development Specialist within Corporate Cost Control, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the organization's financial strategy. As a proactive and trusted advisor to one or more managers within the IT organization, you will provide expert guidance on all financial matters. You will monitor and control the financial aspects of the organization, leveraging your analytical skills to identify areas for improvement and propose actionable solutions.
You will report directly to the responsible manager within the IT organization and your line manager within the finance organization. As part of the Finance Team in Corporate Cost Control, you will report to the Head of IT Cost Control, and be based in Linköping.
As a Business Development Specialist within Group IT, your primary responsibilities include:
- Monitoring and controlling financial aspects such as follow-up, analysis, budget preparation, and forecasting.
- Analyzing actuals and forecasts, identifying gaps, and initiating actions to improve financial performance and achieve targets.
- Cultivating an understanding and acceptance of financial control, processes, and their purpose among stakeholders.
- Embodying a business-focused mindset, actively contributing to business development, and driving strategic decisions.
- Participating as an active member in the management team, highlighting issues, and proposing effective solutions.
- Fostering strong relationships with colleagues across the organization, demonstrating high integrity, and serving as a trusted business partner.
- Collaborating closely with other controllers in the Finance function, actively participating in process improvements, and driving progress in finance-related initiatives.
We seek an analytical and proactive Business Development Specialist with exceptional communication skills, enabling them to effectively convey complex financial information to diverse audiences. You must be structured, goal-oriented, and able to meet deadlines while maintaining a positive attitude. Independent work and team settings are both comfortable environments for you.
Required qualifications:
- A degree in economics, finance, or a related field.
- A minimum of five years' experience as a Business Controller or in a similar role.
Desired qualifications:
- Experience from a similar organization.
- Experience driving change in a large corporation.
- Knowledge of internal service pricing.
This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on current regulations around security protection. For positions requiring security clearance, additional obligations on citizenship may apply.
