About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated candidate to join our team as a Controls Service Engineer. As a key member of our Nordic Controls CS team, you will provide technical assistance, solution development, and onsite integration to customers for Swisslog Controls Solutions.

Main Responsibilities

  • Support our customers with world-class support, including troubleshooting, investigations, enhancements, and optimizations.
  • Provide rotational out-of-hours second-line support to ensure continuous production 24/7.
  • Manage extended customer responsibilities, including yearly site visits, contracts, software, and documentation.
  • Assist in projects and contribute expertise, supporting programming, testing, and commissioning of PLC/HMI systems.
  • Travel to customer sites within the Nordic region as part of the job.

Requirements

  • Academic diploma and/or practical experience in electrical/control engineering.
  • Industrial experience with knowledge of Siemens Simatic Classic S7, Siemens TIA, and/or Beckhoff Twincat.
  • Ability to read and understand electrical schematic drawings.
  • Experience in managing subcontractors delivering electrical installations and controls systems.
  • Desirable experience in Intralogistics and industrial warehouse systems, such as Conveyors, cranes, etc.
