About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead our Applications Tools and LCM Support team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for managing the team and supporting area managers in operational tasks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the operations team in application operation and maintenance, system releases, application upgrades, operational process development, quality assurance, and implementation of new development project capabilities in production.
  • Coordinate the rollout of complex functionality to global sites through planned system releases.
  • Develop and drive system release processes, testing strategies, and standards.
  • Implement company global vision on department level in accordance with business targets.
  • Define annual budget and development plans.
  • Promote work with Health and Safety.
  • Continually follow-up and improve processes, policies, and procedures.
  • Build and develop the team and individuals by managing employee training and development initiatives, providing strategic direction, leadership, and coordination of the function.
  • Provide insight and manage priorities for the team while ensuring activities performance and quality goals.
  • Take a proactive approach and actively participate in recruiting activities.
  • Plan for project staffing and adjusting it according to business needs, as well as planning for both short-term and more strategic long-term changes in the team structure.
  • Manage employee relations, develop, and execute employee engagement initiatives to foster a sense of community among employees.
  • Partner with the management team to develop, improve, and implement strategic people management initiatives and ensure processes are in place to capture and share best practices and operational experiences.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with other teams to ensure implementations meet customer requirements.
  • Plan and drive operational management team meetings and technical meetings.

About You

  • You have documented experience working in IS/IT/PLM system operations organizations and have a good understanding of IT operations and Product Lifecycle Management practices.
  • Experience as a people manager or other relevant leadership experience with personnel responsibility.
  • Knowledge of computer systems, security, network, and systems administration, databases, and data storage systems.
  • Knowledge of continuous integration/continuous deployment methodologies.
  • Experience in Agile project management methodologies.
  • Other experience in relevant areas such as talent management, employee relations, human resources, team leading, company founding, start-up or scale-up, business administration, change management, process development, organizational management, staffing, business development, performance management, and/or similar.
  • You have strong communication, social, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with employees and management.
  • Fluency in English, fluency in Swedish is qualifying.
  • Knowledge of ITIL Best practices.
