Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Property Security Engineer to join our team. As a key member of the Property Engineering and Maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the technical security of Volvo Cars-owned and leased facilities in Sweden. This role will involve managing the long-term maintenance plan, collaborating with Corporate Security and Digital, and making inspections/audits of security installations.
Key Responsibilities- Act as a technical expert in security systems, CCTV, lock systems, and security software.
- Manage the long-term maintenance plan, including planning, execution, and financial follow-up of maintenance activities in security systems.
- Collaborate with suppliers for services and make decisions about necessary activities.
- Make inspections/audits of security installations to ensure compliance with legal requirements, health and safety directives, and business needs.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A BSc in Engineering or a similar field with relevant orientation towards security installations, security software, or be an authorized security installer.
- Documented relevant theoretical knowledge and experience from operating security installations.
- Knowledge in security systems, CCTV, lock systems, and security software.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in English (both verbal and written).
- Swedish skills are a requirement.
