About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Configuration Manager to join our team at Alstom in Vasteras, Sweden. As a key member of our project team, you will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of project structures through effective Change & Configuration management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement and lead the configuration and change management process in collaboration with the Project Manager and Project Engineer.
  • Collect Quality, Cost, Delivery impacts of project changes.
  • Issue the configuration and change management plan.
  • Ensure all team members understand and apply the rules defined in the Documentation Management Plans (DMP).
  • Manage documentation requirements from the Customer.
  • Organize and manage project evolutions through structured change activities.
About You

We value passion and attitude over experience. To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience or understanding of project management principles and practices.
  • Familiarity with documentation management systems and best practices.
  • Knowledge of change & configuration processes in a project environment.
  • Proven track record of adaptability in dynamic project settings.
  • Resilience and leadership skills to drive project success.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • English & Swedish (high level of proficiency).
