In this dynamic role, you will collaborate across teams to produce high-quality, accessible design solutions that empower individuals with disabilities to communicate and engage with the world. Your expertise will be instrumental in:

  • Designing and creating new Picture Communication Symbols for communication and curricular software
  • Developing and designing documents to support hardware and software products
  • Creating engaging illustrations for curricular software and print activities
  • Collaborating with content developers and technical writers to ensure artwork meets product requirements
  • Tracking, documenting, and managing design projects to meet deadlines

To succeed in this position, you should possess:

  • An Associate's Degree in Graphic Design or equivalent work experience
  • 2+ years of experience working as a graphic artist
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) on both MAC and PC platforms
  • Experience with print design is a plus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, and internet applications
  • Strong project management and organizational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for collaboration across teams
